What is BAC?


A BLOG EXPLAINING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE LOVE OF GOD TO CHRISTIANS, PRESENTING BIBLICAL ARGUMENTS STRAIGHT FROM THE BIBLE IN A LOGICAL WAY, ESPECIALLY THROUGH SHADOWS, ILLUSTRATIONS AND TYPOLOGY.

BAC Christian

BAC stands for 'Born Again Christian'. A Born Again Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ. Below is a statement of faith for what BAC's believe.

In society today there is an increasing confusion over exactly what Christianity is. This is largely down to the word ‘Christianity’ being used as an umbrella term that encompasses many different denominations, including most notably Church of England and Roman Catholic.

BACChristian seeks to rectify this problem and make clear to all exactly what BAC’s believe through presentation of unbiased evidence, allowing people to make a clear, informed decision about God.

God has given us all free-will. We all have a decision to make. BACChristian is here to allow you to make that decision with all the information necessary. To make a decision on the basis distorted facts that you may believe to be true is to make the wrong decision.

As the world becomes more depraved there is now a pressing need for Christians to speak out and stand tall for what they believe more than ever before. It is vital that those we separate ourselves from know exactly why we do what we do and what we stand for.

This blog is for all, Christians, agnostics, religious folk and atheists.

There is an ache in my heart for the world and a temper towards those Christians who are idle and do nothing to help their non-Christian friends or to separate themselves from the sinful ways of the world.

Leviticus 25: Jesus in the year of Jubilee

Leviticus 25 tells us about the year of Jubilee. The year of Jubilee occured every 50 years. There were 49 years and then the 50th year would be the Jubilee year. ( Leviticus 25:8 ). The Jubilee was known as the Sabbath of Sabbaths. It was ultimate thing, just as the inner santuary of the Tabernacle was known as the Holy of Holies, or Jesus is the King of Kings. The sabbath was the seventh day of the week. In Leviticus 25:1-7 God instructs the Israelites not only to keep the sabbath on the seventh day of the week, but also to keep the seventh year as a sabbath year of rest for the land. The Lord Giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord

It is safe to say that this phrase, found in Job 1:21 will be applicable to all of us at some time in our life, whether its the first half of the phrase or the second half. We live in a fallen world. The world is cursed ( Genesis 3 ). The world is full of loss, pain, sorrow, hurt, death, illness, injustice, fraud, deceit, lies, deception: the negatives are endless. Therefore it is inevitable that our lives will not always be rosy. Sometimes this is a consequence of our actions, sometimes this is the consequence of somebody else's actions, and sometimes it is simply a consequence of living on this earth. It is common to see what appeared to be at one time the strongest of Christians become deserters of God when things get tough. Oh, what an unbiblical and destructive way this is to live.
